Methodology 3
In
grammar, vocabulary, and functional language classes, I use lesson
frameworks such as text-based presentation and task-based teaching. In
these settings and in others that allow it, I use the aforementioned
authentic materials: articles, films, radio shows and others, created
for native speakers and fluent speakers.
The
reading lessons are sequenced to include the three skills needed in
these classes: dynamic reading, during which the essential idea is
obtained; speed reading, which aims to locate specific facts; and close
reading, which allows to understand the details of the text.
